Over 400 young people gather for the Ndola Youth Town Hall Meeting

The event was graced by Hon. Elvis Nkandu, Minister of Youth, Sport and Arts, represented by Mr. Kangwa Chileshe, Permanent Secretary, alongside Mr. Daniel Kamenga, Deputy PS for Copperbelt, and Mr. Wilfred Chilala, representing the District Commissioner.

The Minister, through the PS, commended the National Youth Development Council (NYDC) for hosting the first-ever Town Hall Meeting in the province and announced plans to roll out more youth town hall meetings in 2026 to enhance access to empowerment opportunities.

Stakeholders including CEEC, NORTEC, DEC, MYSA, the Ministry of Mines, and Ndola City Council delivered inspiring presentations on youth empowerment, mental health, and drug abuse awareness.
