SADC youth leaders unite for Regional Development2025 SADC Youth Consultation

From 23rd to 25th July 2025, youth leaders from across Southern Africa are gathered at the Capital Empire in Sandton, South Africa, for the SADC Youth Consultation. This vital forum seeks to advance human, social, and youth development, harnessing the region’s demographic dividend to drive sustainable growth and prosperity.

Zambia is proudly represented by the National Youth Development Council (NYDC), led by Mr. Omiya Hankanga, Director of Programmes and Partnerships, and Ms. Thokozile Mphande, a Youth Representative. They are contributing to shaping strategies and sharing insights with fellow emerging leaders from across the region.
